Where is it?

The Italian “Distretto della Sedia” is located in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, an Italian region facing the Adriatic Sea and bordering Slovenia and Austria. The original industrial core included the Municipalities of Corno di Rosazzo, Manzano, and San Giovanni al Natisone, the so-called "Triangolo della Sedia”, which has gradually expanded to include eleven Municipalities of the Province of Udine.

The companies

Among the prevailing business activities, numerous reliable and professional companies that have been operating in the wood-furniture sector for over 100 years occupy the prominent position.

The know-how that makes the Chair District unique does not mean uniformity; on the contrary, it represents an extraordinary wealth of ideas and products.

The wide offer is the natural result of different needs and ways of living the home, the office, a job, a relaxing moment, all innovative interpretations of both classic and modern solutions that blend in well with tables and furnishings.

The products

The range of products is quite vast: from simple chairs to products with a refined design, from leather armchairs to office chairs. The district’s production capacity is the result of shared expertise used to combine tradition with the most modern technology.

Selected from forests subject to strict control standards, wood is the traditional material of the sector. A well known and loved material, natural and alive, ecofriendly before the term even existed: processed with skilled techniques, enhanced by its surface finishing, it is always modern thanks to new esthetic and technological standards.

Family tradition and a strong bond with the territory are the keys to qualitative growth.
