Laminated HPL

HPL

Colour

Available in a wide range of colours and finishes: from laminated wood to stones, from metals to concrete. It provides an infinity of possibilities you won’t need to hold your imagination for a unique and refined design.

Characteristics

The new technology of the curved laminate allows to produce the most varied and imaginative design objects for furniture and to provide the chair industry with an innovative material. The laminated has characteristics of resistance far superior to the multilayer, with the same thickness. Moreover, its particular composition of cellulosic fiber impregnated with thermosetting resins HPL is produced by saturating multiple layers of kraft paper with phenolic resin to obtain a non-porous product capable of resisting the damages caused by water, steam and oil infiltrations. It has chemical, fire and wear resistance properties. It is a material suitable to come into contact with food.

Workability

HPL is produced by saturating multiple layers of kraft paper with phenolic resin fused together at high temperatures (150 ºC) and pressure. This process converts the sheets into a single, rigid laminated sheet with great durability..

General use

HPL is suitable for many applications and realizations in many sectors of indoor and outdoor furniture, homes and public facilities. In particular, kitchen tops, tables and coverings can also be made for shops and public places.
