Mariinsky Theatre II

Essepiwood manufactured the 500 custom armchairs of the Mariinsky Theatre according to the stringent specifications of the design, which aimed at maximizing acoustics, visibility, and comfort, so as to offer the audience the best possible experience during every performance.

The backrests of the armchair are made of beech plywood, painted and coupled with a back pad completely upholstered in fabric. The foldable seats are equipped with a beech plywood underseat with horizontal grooves to improve acoustics.
