Careful monitoring of the chain of custody of wood, efficiency in the use of raw materials, and the organization of the transformation cycle enable the creation of products intended to last over time.

Wood
The sourcing and selection of our raw material, wood and its derivatives, is based on sustainability criteria. We are FSC ® (Forest Stewardship Council®) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) certified.
Our Research and Development departments are continuously looking for the most efficient materials for both production and the environment. The optimization of production waste, guaranteed by the use of latest generation technologies, is made even more efficient thanks to the implementation of recycling as well as waste sorting and recovery activities.
Technology and Innovation
Essepiwood continuously seeks to identify efficient and sustainable technical solutions in order to improve the results ensured by the materials used as well as its overall performance. Careful planning and state-of-the-art machinery make it possible to reduce waste in all production phases.
We also co-design solutions with our customers that take into consideration the end of life of the product, promoting a circular economy for the benefit of people and the environment.
Quality Glue
We pay special attention to the vinyl glues we use, which must always ensure a safe work environment for our employees: during all production phases, we prefer to use products suitable even for those markets with the highest safety standards.
The glues we use are very low in formaldehyde and comply with all EC regulations. In addition, all wood-based composite materials produced at our plants comply with E1 class requirements related to formaldehyde emissions.
Electric Energy
The electric energy we use comes entirely from traceable and certified sources, and part of it is self-produced by means of a photovoltaic system installed on our roofs, capable of delivering 200 kW. Energy consumption is monitored continuously to ensure the maximum efficiency of our processes.

Environment and Safety
Environmental sustainability, which goes in hand in hand with social responsibility, is in the DNA of our company. Our production environments fully meet all health and safety requirements: the concentration values of pollutants emitted during the production cycle are almost zero and recognized as lower than the limit values set by the Autorizzazione Unica Ambientale (Italian Single Environmental Authorization).
